I was watching a debate the other night and an interesting question came up. The debate was on the current subject of the harvesting of parts by Planned Parenthood.
It seems that progressive belief in the present era of liberalism is that the fetus, regardless of age in the womb is not a human. It therefore is considered perfectly moral to abort, or in the case where there is developed lungs, hearts, livers, etc, to harvest and offer for sale to research labs, these parts.
It therefore would be assumed, in line with the thinking of progressives, that the remains of fetus's in abortions or harvesting procedures would be no more than "junk" material". So now the question came up that I never thought of and possibly someone who believes in the pro life mantra can answer.
If one is pro life and believes that human life begins at conception, and indeed there seems to be DNA present at the beginning, then how come in the case of a miscarriage, those who believe in the pro life philosophy, there is not a funeral taking place?
Never considered it before but certainly a valid question.
